Third Party Administration

BPI must approve administrators (TPAs). 

Notify us promptly if a group is considering changing its claims administration service.   

  Required to Approve TPAs 

                TPA Application, signed 

                Upon request we will forward a TPA Application                  to be completed.  However, we will review other
                 applications as long as the information is current.   

The application must be signed and dated. 

To ensure the accuracy of our records, we may require an updated application periodically. 

                E & O Coverage               

Provide a copy of the TPA’s current E & O  

                License

Provide a copy of the TPA’s home state license, certificate or registration as required by the state. 

  Required for Sold Business 

Approved Third Party Administrator

                TPA Requirements 

Provide a current copy of the TPA’s home state license, if expired. 

Provide a current copy of the TPA’s E & O coverage, if expired.

Provide a copy of the TPA license for the group's headquartered state as required by the state.
